not mad at the show or its hosts over this but good god the AI digression on the latest MinnMax Show pissed me off. guest just rambling on and on as the hosts get increasingly uncomfortable

Reading requires you to sit still. You get the author's voice, their pace, their digression. AI lets you skip the sitting—just give me the summary. But the slow friction is where understanding happens. Fast consumption isn't the same as learning.
