My housemate's wife & son are staying w/us this weekend, both of whom I like fine, though I've yet to see either. She may be a bit manic compulsive, however: she decided last night that 2:30 am was the perfect moment to fitfully Swiffer our bathroom, which is <10' from where I was sleeping.

I slept fitfully dreaming of big insects and teeny birds flying around my bedroom. Walked into the living room with my second coffee to check emails and nearly dropped my mug as I heard loud bird chittering. It was just some usual kerfuffle out in front of a window left ajar, so louder than usual 😅
