Thinking about the relatives of mine (some of whom were disabled, so it was permanent) and friends (temporary during periods of unemployment) who wound up on SNAP (or its precursor, "food stamps") and I kinda wanna slap that Mike Davis guy across the mouth now.

A Nightmare on Elm Street 2: Freddy's Revenge (1985) kinda feels like a precursor to more recent "elevated" horror movies, but sloppily made as a slasher sequel in the mid-80s, so doomed to fail.
To its credit it does remind us not to buy cheap birdseed, a message that we should all take to heart.
