The main reason I like well-executed "body horror" so much is that our bodies are the one relationship that even the most dedicated misanthrope cannot escape. You could be a hermit on Mount Athos and some day, you'll see that funny mole on your cheek and think "Huh, that wasn't there yesterday..."
