idk if i clicked on something but I feel like i've been getting a lot of "worst xyz ever" stuff on youtube, it's so easy to hate-review as a form of superiority, but I think the latent effect is an audience of people ready to ostracize anything that doesn't fall in line with what's popular

I haven't stopped thinking about that paper that suggested LLMs transmit more than the surface information through ordering and word choices in predictions. that sorta implies documents, commit messages, and lines of OSS code can be a latent memory for models over generations of training
