There was a black cat with yellow eyes on my ramp this evening and then a very fuzzy kitten gamboled away as I came back tonight.

I do not know these felines. They definitely aren’t my basement cats.

Gambol

Garishly running into wide open arms,
ardent yet aimless, what life of lush regret.
men and money fall under feet,
blinking, walking, slipping through streets.
o’er the quiet and dried up love charms,
limerick for a lioness, no saint and not a pet.

to #frolic in the sunshine
Is such a lovely thought
To gambol in the springtime
A pastime dearly sought
But skipping is more difficult
And playing more a chore
When each new day brings burdens
So much heavier than before
