FF XIV canonically nuking their game world to try again with ffXIV ARR will never be topped. I'm forever surprised more studios didn't try to do this with projects that failed to meet the mark. Spending a bit of extra cash to try something crazy is surly better than just burning a billion dollars.

My weekly grocery run includes Fred Meyer (Kroger) and Trader Joe's. The difference in cashier attitudes is stark. Kroger: quiet, surly. Joe's: enthusiastic, friendly. I totally blame it on working conditions and how management treats them.
