Granted, I've been playing games before this was released, but I think this one was the earliest to specifically altered my my brain chemistry (way back in '95.) The graphics, the music, the colorful and whimsical level designs - it set a course for the kind of imagination games could be.

Some of my favourite endings come from Shakespeare, like The Tempest which I mentioned in the original post. Another whimsical ending is The Goonies, which I remember being a lot of fun as a child.
