If something is multifarious (adjective), it basically has more variety than a buffet at 2 a.m. It’s a formal way of saying “wow, that’s a lot of different stuff.”

Thanksgiving as a concept is a good one, although my thanks will always necessarily be secular, and given to good company, good will, and the multifarious ways we each bring forward our respective humanity. We are a wondrous, stupid species and we should be thankful that we can perceive at all.
