Age has finally come for me, I am painfully nostalgic for 2011, when the riffs were summery, the picking was clean, the syncopation and ghost-notes were plentiful, and the v-necks were deep.
Anyway I think this new periphery track is the closest I'm gonna get to a past-life regression.

Listening to Genesis and I forgot how much I love 6/4 and syncopation.

Ive always been a huge fan of Laurie Spiegel & felt very inspired by her taking the syncopation of mountain banjo styles & putting it to computer music, but Ive never heard her talk about her thoughts on folk music/electronic music & how they're related.
"The computer really is a folk instrument..."
